The North Carolina Association of Volunteer Administration (NCAVA) is pleased to offer the Basics in Volunteer Management course online. The course will cover volunteer recruitment, retention, risk management, recognition, etc.

- PLEASE NOTE: if these dates are not convenient, agencies/organizations with approximately 8 or more students can request a customized online class.
After enrollment, there is no set time to “log on” each day. You can access the course from any computer with Internet access. Graduates of the class will receive one Continuing Education credit from Southeastern Community College (Whiteville, NC), 12 hours toward NCAVA certification as a Certified Administrator of Volunteers in North Carolina, as well as several completed components of the certification portfolio.
The tuition cost of the course is $70, made payable to Southeastern Community College. A handbook is required and will be made available the first day of class at no additional cost.
Anyone, anywhere can take this course. Out-of-state tuition DOES NOT apply. Those outside of the United States are encouraged to join the class. Tuition payment must be in the form of a US Money Order.

Due to state auditing standards, please mail a registration form with your ORIGINAL SIGNATURE, NOT a copy, of your completed form. Tuition payment must accompany class registration form.
