Jennifer Fahrmeyer, Community Service Recognition submitted by Tucson Electric Power Company for her service on the Community Action Team as the Outreach Project Coordinator.

“It’s been a big part of my world since I was a young teen, with church and different clubs I was a part of. As I’ve gotten older, I realized that Volunteering for others and the community costs nothing but my time. I will if I can give a little of my time to make a difference. It not only helps others but also helps feed a need within myself that feels good.” ~ Jennifer

Community Service Recognitions

The annual SAVMA Awards include Community Service Recognitions, like the one Jennifer received. These recognitions and awards are part of a more significant strategic effort to draw attention to volunteers’ essential work and to the profession of volunteer engagement.
