Presentation: Building Capacity Through Good Data: Why The Census Matters To Your Organization
The 2020 Census is just around the corner. It will take the participation of our whole community to ensure that every person is counted once, only once, and in the right place. Census data is used to find critical programs used by the people you work with and serve, and will directly impact Arizona’s congressional representation. Learn how your volunteers can make a difference, and explore how achieving an accurate count can benefit your community and organization.
Professional Learning Objectives:
- Understand how Census data is used to fund critical services, from education, to healthcare, to infrastructure.
- Explore how you can leverage Census data to better serve your community.
- Create a plan for reaching out to those who may be difficult to count.
