Tori enjoys serving the volunteer community working as Volunteer Resources Manager for Interfaith Community Services for nearly 5 years. She is a Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA) through CCVA whose goal is to advance excellence in volunteer administration by delivering professional certification and advocating ethical practice. In 2018, Tori received an appointment by the Governor’s Office as a Commissioner on Service and Volunteerism. She is also currently in training with United Way as a trainer for the Service Enterprise Initiative, a certification through the Points of Light Foundation which helps launch nonprofits into greater efficiency with their volunteer program. Tori currently serves on the SAVMA board and SAVRE event committee for award nominations. In her previous professional life, Tori was a geophysicist in exploration geophysics. Her other previous passion was educating the next generation (including 2 awesome, now grown sons). She has participated in a variety of leadership, Board and administrative functions within the home education and church communities. She holds an MS from Dartmouth College in Earth Science and a BS from University of Arizona in Geophysics. She loves yoga, exercise, tending plants, and loves to teach, learn, study and cook in her gluten free kitchen.
