Overview: Alexei Marquez, Coordinate at the University of Arizona (ASUA) will present will review what VolunteerUA tells our students about engaging with community partners and what community partners can anticipate will occur when they have UA students working with them.

Who: Alexei Marquez is a native Tucsonan and full-time Coordinator of Service for the Student Governance and Programs department at the University of Arizona. She has a BA in Secondary English Education with a minor in Spanish and a MA in Language, Reading, and Culture from the UA. Currently, she is a Doctoral Student in the Educational Leadership and Policy program at the UA College of Education. A soon to be mother of three, Alexei also serves on the UA Hispanic Alumni Board, as a faculty advisor for Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority Inc. and is part of the SAVMA Board.
