It doesn’t have to be a pain: identifying ways to work more effectively with volunteers
Description: What is the most challenging aspect of working with volunteers? What are the parts of your job which are most exhausting? What do you wish you could spend more time on? How do you effectively communicate the impact of your volunteers? In this presentation, we’ll help you identify the aspects of working with volunteers which are causing you the most pain and discuss what systems or processes could be improved to help minimize that pain.
Learning Objectives:
- Globally Good’s goal is to provide volunteer managers and nonprofits with tools to make working with volunteers easier and more efficient so more time can be spent on engagement, retention, and recognition.”
- Members will be asked to critically analyze how they currently work with volunteers and through self-reflection and discussion come up with ways to improve existing processes and identify gaps in such processes.
